As the owner of Stampede and similar to many independents, I had to diversify my business in the wake of COVID and developed my skills in the art of balloon artistry whilst focusing on customer doorstep shoe fitting during the day. I continue to develop my skills in this field and offer this service to my local customers as I truly love this side of my business. Why stop doing something you enjoy?

One of the most wonderful aspects of being a child is the magic of make-believe. I remember the days when I was a child, creating a world of fairies from within a crevice of my old apple tree, where they danced around snow drops and lived under toadstools. I open this door to this wonderful make believe by creating bespoke balloon displays linked with themes such as dinosaurs, unicorns, fairies, animals and superheroes etc. The designs are predominately air filled foil and latex balloons but may incorporate helium (dependent upon the design).

I also create organic balloon displays designed to naturally flow around rented props (Disney characters, light up numbers, outdoor tent entrances or a backdrop for photos etc). There is nothing more rewarding than to see a child's eyes light up with excitement and joy on seeing their balloon displays for the first time. I have made bespoke designs for teenagers and older children (adults!) incorporating faux flowers and foliage or simple column display, Social Media backdrops or balloon displays with neon lights.
